Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Traditional Balsamic Vinegar
  • 4 slices of grilled toast bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (any)
  • 1 cup of marinated mushrooms
  • Salt and ground pepper
  • Pickled shredded cabbage (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the onion with little salt and pepper for about 15 minutes over low heat; stir.
  3. Add the balsamic vinegar and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Transfer onion to a bowl; set aside.
  5. Place the cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onions onto one toast slice. Also, you can add the pickled cabbage, too.
  6. Cover with the second slice of bread.
  7. Enjoy!
