    Marinated Prawns with Lemongrass

Ingredients

  • Seafood, Gluten-free, Nut-free
  • 2 Tbsp of lemongrass, trimmed (or lemon zest)
  • 1/2 oz of fresh turmeric, grated
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 lb. prawns, deveined and peeled

Instructions

  1. Mix 1/2 cup of Meyer Lemon Olive Oil, lemongrass, turmeric, garlic, and salt in a large container.
  2. Add prawns and toss to combine well with marinade.
  3. Cover and let marinate for one hour.
  4. Heat remaining oil in a wok or frying skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add prawns with marinade, and fry for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve warm over pasta, rice, potatoes, etc.
