Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Mix wine, cranberry juice, sugar, cinnamon, and orange peel in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Cook until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes.
  4. Place pears in a large baking dish.
  5. Drizzle the cranberry-wine mixture over pears.
  6. Roast pears for about one-hour, basting pears with sauce every 20 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the Cranberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar and serve.
